  1. Top Android Apps to make Money
  2. 7 Useful Apps and Websites to Earn Extra Money

Want to make some extra money in your free time by just doing what you normally do? Well, no surprise, there’s an app (or rather, there are apps) for that. Truth be told, you won’t become the world’s next billionaire (or say, be able to finance your own presidential campaign), but by utilizing the 5 Apps below, you can earn some legitimate money in your free time.

Check out the Get (a Little More) Rich Quick List below:

#1 Get Cash Back Every Time You Shop with Ibotta:

Ibotta App

With Ibotta, shoppers can earn money by… shopping. You start out by downloading the App and sifting through the different products that are of interest to you. Based on your interests, Ibotta will create a personalized collection of “tasks” for you that unlock rebates and cash back rewards for products you want. The tasks are simple (think: sharing a post on Facebook, answering a survey, watching a video, etc) and every time you complete one, you get the cashback associated with the item deposited into your account within 48 hours of purchasing it.

Here’s the play-by-play:

  1. Download the App
  2. Complete Tasks/Unlock Rebate
  3. Go Shopping 🙂
  4. Get Cash Money

#2 Get Cash Back Every Time You Dine Out with Servy:

Servy App

Are you located in the NYC area? If so, with Servy you will never have to hesitate before adding guac to your order ever again. Servy awards cashback for providing private feedback to restaurants. Your feedback is sent directly to the owner/manager so that they can see what they’re doing right (and what they’re not), but will otherwise remain private. The result is constructive feedback that helps restaurants get better vs. the public (often fake) reviews of unverified sites. These public/unverified reviews can actually hurt restaurant owners and mislead consumers. On the flip side, Servy enables you to make money and help small businesses improve. PLUS, for every evaluation you complete, Servy donates a meal to a food bank. Now that’s feedback that gives back.

Here’s the play-by-play:

  1. Download the App
  2. Wine and Dine Yourself (or get a salad to go at Just Salad- just do you)
  3. Evaluate Your Experience
  4. Get Cash Back
  5. Servy Donates a Meal to a Food Bank

#3 Get Rewarded for Doing What You Say You’re Going To Do with Pact:

Pact App

Are you someone who always does what you say you’re going to do? “I’m going to lose 5 pounds.” Those 5 pounds are toast by Friday. “I’m going to run 3 miles tomorrow.” Took those miles down faster than a Ninja Turtle can scoff down a pizza. If this sounds like you, then Pact is your golden ticket to wealth beyond your frugalest dreams. Pact is an App that helps you accomplish the health and wellness goals you set for yourself. The concept is pretty simple, with two possible outcomes:

1) Set a goal for yourself, kick a$$, and get paid

2) Set a goal, fail, and contribute to the Founder’s wife’s shoe collection.

Just kidding about the shoe fund, but Pact does actually charge you for failing to stick to your goals and the money you lose as a failure actually goes to pay the winners. Basically, the premise of the App is that you will be more motivated for fear of losing money.

Here’s the play-by-play:

  1. Download the App
  2. Set a Pact (Ex: I will work out for 30 minutes tomorrow and eat 2 servings of veggies)
  3. Workout (Track workouts via GPS or fitness tracker) & Eat Kale (upload pix of your food) OR Eat donuts and watch Netflix
  4. Get Paid OR Pay Up

#4 Get Rewards for Watching TV & Listening to Music with Viggle:

Viggle App

We’re going to have to amend the saying “Netflix and Chill” to be “Netflix, Chill and Get That Cash.” With the Viggle App, you can reap rewards from watching TV! Users “check-in” to whatever show they’re watching or song they’re listening to, earn Viggle points and can then redeem their points for TV shows, movies, music, eBooks, audiobooks, and a buncha other cool stuff.

Here’s the play-by-play:

  1. Download the Viggle App
  2. Check In while Watching TV or Listening to Music- Viggle listens to any TV show or any song (like Shazam)
  3. Get Points Every Time You Check In
  4. Redeem Points for Cool Stuffs

#5 Get Rewarded for Online Activity with InboxDollars:

InboxDollars App

With InboxDollars you get to do all the random stuff online that you already do and get rewarded for it. InboxDollars is an online rewards club that pays members cash for their online and mobile activities. They pass on the money they get from their advertisers to their users and reward members for everyday activities like reading emails, playing games and filling out surveys. Your account gets credited for each activity and once you’ve racked up $30 you can cash out. By using InboxDollars, you are also helping the brands and stores you love with market research, which is another plus. While there are other Apps similar to InboxDollars, what I like the most is that they are upfront about the time required and amount you can earn with each activity. That way, you won’t be lured into filling out question after question of this “quick survey” just to earn a buck.

Here’s the play-by-play:

  1. Download the App
  2. Discover the Offers that Interest You
  3. Do Stuff to Fulfill Requirements for the Offer
  4. Get Cash Credited to Your Account
