As you can see my blog is on blogger platform and i am quite enjoying using this platform and i know so many of you out there are using blogger platform for your blog for first time, So have i decided to share some tips that will help you to show OR hide blogger gadgets in mobile view. So lets get started :

How to show/hide Blogger gadgets in mobile view

 

If you want to show blogger gadgets in mobile then follow these simple steps :

1) Select the gadget which you want to show in mobile  :
*Example : In my case i want to show “Follow Us” gadget in mobile

2) Go to Layout > Click on edit (Of those gadget which you want to show in mobile) > Copy the id of “widgetId”

3) Now go to Template > “Edit HTML” > Search for the widget id which you have recently copied (You can search it by pressing “Ctrl + F” on keyboard)

Warning : First backup your template by clicking on Template > “Backup / Restore” button (In the right-up corner)

Why Backup ? :
If something went wrong, then you can restore it.

4) Now just after “locked=’false’” add “mobile=’yes’” (This should be added in the right section of the code)

5) Save you template by clicking on “Save template” button
6) Done!

Now if you to hide blogger gadget in mobile then follow this simple step :

1) Just use “mobile=’no’” instead of “mobile=’yes’

Bonus :
If you want to show blogger gadget only in mobile then follow this step :
1) Use “mobile=’only’” instead
This code will only show the gadget in mobile and not in desktop view

Note : These method works for original blogger templates which are not responsive, as responsive (/magazine style) blogger template don’t need these codes because these (responsive) template are same for mobile and desktop view. But if you are using templates (like original blogger templates) which have different mobile templates then you will definitely need these codes.
